The First Flame
With the rebellion’s victory against the Southern Palace still echoing through the land, Xander finds himself face to face with a past he’d told himself was long forgotten. Forced into a difficult confrontation he wasn’t expecting, he scrambles to pull his people together against the merciless emperor. To do that, he must first finish claiming the southern lands of Jaguria.
The Fire
With the southern lands in the hands of the rebellion, Xander looks to the Midlands Palace. But first, he must face an army sent to wipe out the rebellion once and for all. Largely outnumbered, he will have to rely heavily on deception and trickery to defeat the general who leads it.
The Burn
Finally overtaking the Midlands Palace, Xander begins to believe his people can defeat the emperor’s army. However, he learns too late that the emperor’s spies have infiltrated the rebellion. Will the devastation they wreak crush the rebels’ will to fight or strengthen it?
The Blaze
Separated from the rebellion after the attack, Yolana tries desperately to find Xander. Tristan and Ryder sprint furiously to intercept Shaylin and Meika when they learn they have been captured. But the price to get them back may be higher than they bargained for.
The Phoenix
With the final push of the rebellion upon them, Xander struggles with what he must do. But when he is deeply humbled by his people’s answer to his call, he determines to finish what his father started long ago. Steeling himself against the destiny he’s always denied, he attempts a daring infiltration into the Imperial Palace that will unleash his fury upon those inside.
